00:00 Not an ideal end to this race for Ryan Blaney. Ryan, looks like you've had it there, but had a bit of an issue coming to the white flag. What happened?
00:07 That's what I guess. Yeah, I thought, I don't think any of us thought we were short. I thought, we all thought we were a couple laps to the good, so we just have to figure out what, you know, where the miscalculation was or how we thought it was, had more in it than what we needed.
00:22 Because we had a long run, we could have saved if we knew, but so just need to figure that out. But proud of the effort. Obviously, the result stinks.
00:31 Thought we did a good job all day. Everybody on our 12 team did a good job all day just being competitive and running up front and having a shot to win.
00:39 Just nothing seemed to go right the last month. Gosh, I just, hopefully it straightens out for us. But all we can do is try to keep doing the best we can.
00:47 But proud of the two team. At least they got to win the race and proud of Austin. That's good for them. So hopefully we can keep bringing speed to the racetrack.
00:56 I know you are disappointed after that finish, but as you just mentioned, teammate there in victory lane. Strong day overall for Team Penske. How crucial was that given the last few weeks and how this team has performed?
01:05 Yeah, super strong weekend for all of us. Austin winning, us having a good shot to win, Joey running 5th. Just a good weekend for us. This track has suited us the last few years, which is nice.
01:17 It's nice to keep that speed. The last few weeks, really couple of months for our whole organization has been a little rough.
01:24 So hopefully this is the right path that we can go down and keep learning. I don't know if we were the best car today. The 20 was pretty good. It was all I had to hold him off.
01:31 There for a little bit, but overall I think we're on to something and hopefully we can keep getting better in the future.
01:39 Well, and keeping that momentum going, looking at Sonoma this weekend, fresh pavement. Where's your confidence heading there?
01:44 Yeah, I don't know. We'll see. Same for everybody. I think only a couple of guys did the test.
01:51 It's going to be a lot faster than what it has been there. Different mindset set ups. It will be fun to get out west. Hopefully we can have a good run out there.
