Asset maintenance and replacement works at the Sungai Selangor Phase 1 Water Treatment Plant (SSP1) have reached 63.1% completion as of 3pm Wednesday (June 5), says Air Selangor.

In a press release issued at 3.30pm, Air Selangor said work was proceeding on schedule to meet the expected completion time of 7pm.

00:25Residents in seven affected areas in the Klang Valley can expect water supply restoration
00:31to begin in stages starting at 3 a.m. on Thursday.
00:35I Selangor stated that the water supply restoration is expected to reach approximately 20 percent
00:42by 3 p.m. on Thursday and up to 90 percent by 3 a.m. the following day, with full restoration
00:49anticipated by noon on Friday.
00:53Residents are reminded that the duration of the water supply disruption and subsequent
00:58recovery will depend on their location and water pressure within the distribution system.

01:13In May, I Selangor announced that seven areas in the Klang Valley, namely Kuala Lumpur,

01:25water disruption from June 5 to 7 due to the maintenance and replacement work at the SSP1 WTP.
