00:00 Hey, let's make this tiny vintage hotcake.
00:02 I've always loved miniature versions of regular sized objects, so I wanted to start a fun
00:08 little series where I make teeny tiny cakes.
00:11 I like to call this, Tiny Cake Time.
00:14 Before I started, I honestly thought this was going to be easy.
00:17 But making a teeny tiny cake is actually harder than making a regular sized one.
00:22 Stacking and filling each layer would cause it to wobble.
00:25 Even doing the crumb coat and the final layer would make the cake slide around because it
00:29 was extremely light.
00:31 But the more I did, the more I saw my vision come into life.
00:34 I didn't have any small enough scrapers, so my old Costco membership card had to do.
00:39 Despite the challenges, there's something magical about miniatures.
00:42 Maybe it's the charm of things in small packages, or the joy of creating something adorable
00:46 and out of the ordinary.
00:48 From small appliances to tiny food, there's something captivating about miniature versions
00:52 of everyday objects that capture our imagination.
00:55 So here's to the little things in life, whether it's a tiny cake or a tiny dream.
00:59 Remember, it's the small things that make life sweet.
01:02 Let me know what tiny cake you want to see next.
