00:00 Hello, I'm James McMuravich and I'm here at Green Lane Car Park in Warsaw. We've found
00:06 out recently that the Warsaw Council at the end of this month are going to raise car parking
00:10 charges across a bunch of short stay and long stay car parks. There's a notice on everyone
00:15 here, Schedule 1 which is for short stay car parks, it says that for example for 2 hours
00:19 it's going to go from £1.10 to £1.60 and then this is Monday to Saturday and then 4
00:24 hours it's going to be £2.20 to £2.60. That's about a 45% increase for short stay car parks.
00:31 It's slightly less for long stay car parks, like a 10-15% increase but it's still an increase
00:36 nonetheless. We've been here speaking to some people asking what they think. One woman said
00:40 that she was not actually that bothered by it but she said that the council could look
00:45 after the car park better. Whereas other people have then said that they're not very happy
00:48 about it. One person described it as an attack on motorists. So that's the sort of general
00:52 view. If you think that it's an increase and you're not happy about it or anything like
00:56 that, please let us know in the comments below.
