00:00Gosh, my boys have taught me everything.
00:02It's like, it really is the cliche
00:05that every parent mentions where your life
00:07just becomes technicolor
00:09after being black and white before them.
00:11Like I just, I can't, I have purpose, I have meaning.
00:15I'm better at having boundaries for myself because of them
00:19and obviously having boundaries for them.
00:21I'm better at advocating for myself and for them
00:24in a way that like, before they came along,
00:27I just, I feel like I was a constant people pleaser
00:30and I would always say yes.
00:32And being a parent just like shifts everything
00:35into this new perspective.
00:37Like your world is obviously,
00:39you're living your life for yourself as well,
00:41but it's like, it's totally about family first.
00:45Yeah, it's an unexplainable, unknowable love
00:49until you get into this position.
00:52It's the best, I love it.
00:54I mean, Rebecca is like a hard,
00:57she's on a pedestal for sure,
00:59but that is like a hard bar to reach.
01:01She just like, I feel like she was such an ultimate mom
01:06and they were the ultimate parents
01:07and it's hard to like live up to that for sure.
01:10But it's funny, I think back now with like the podcast
01:14and rewatching the show, I'm like, wow.
01:16Like just comparing notes of like,
01:18I didn't know any of this before
01:20and I still don't by any means.
01:22I'm clearly not like a parenting expert,
01:24but just having the wherewithal and like,
01:27you know, the life experience now a little bit
01:29for the past couple of years of being a parent,
01:31it's like, I guess I kind of nailed that.
01:34I kind of like knew what I was doing there,
01:36but like there are other scenarios where we totally deviate
01:40and like I would handle that differently.
01:42Like as parent now, I don't agree with how she,
01:45like with the choice that she made.
01:47So it's funny now to have that different perspective
01:49watching the show.
