01:27I didn't really mention that my mom has mental illness or anything
01:32with friendships or relationships at all.

01:39I found myself making jokes about these different things
01:45that I hadn't been able to find humor in.
01:48It's no surprise that I'm blonde right now.
01:50I remember wanting to be a white girl so badly.
01:53I thought being white was seen as beautiful.
01:56Movies and television tell you that the psych ward is dangerous.
02:01I got recognized by another patient.
02:03He said, I don't want to embarrass you, but am I crazy or are you Gary Goldman?
02:07And I said, oh, you're crazy.

02:11I love it when people can make jokes like that
02:14because it just makes you feel, oh yeah, we're all in this together
02:17and there's funny things about this and sad things about this
02:19and we're all just going through it.
