00:03 The other story in sports media this week is surrounding the Pat McAfee show,
00:08 where it was a very odd and bizarre way to discuss Caitlin Clark and the WNBA.
00:15 It was a PowerPoint, there were some expletives used.
00:18 What did you make of the sort of explanation and
00:22 the delivery of the content when Pat McAfee was talking about Caitlin Clark?
00:27 And the following day, which it appeared an apology came.
00:30 >> Well, I'll tell you, this is the first time in a long time that we have had
00:37 a controversy like this really grow way out of proportion.
00:39 And what Pat McAfee did, I'm not gonna, by the way, I did see the full clip.
00:43 The thing is, he added fuel to a fire that is just blazing, blazing,
00:48 blazing for all the wrong reasons.
00:50 I mean, we have seen this whole situation.
00:52 We have issues of race and gender and entitlement throw in,
00:56 which it shouldn't have been.
00:57 The bottom line is, Pat McAfee was wrong.
00:59 He did apologize, even though on Monday Night Raw, the same night,
01:03 he did use the same words again with Braun Strowman, who came into a match.
01:08 One of the problems with this whole controversy, Craig,
01:11 is the WNBA management has not gotten in and publicly said, hey,
01:15 stop this stupid situation.
01:19 And also, what they should have done off the bat was for
01:22 Kandi Carter in the incident to fine her and suspend her for one or two games.
01:26 But WNBA management has got to come in there and say something.
