A juror in the trial of 7 people accused of defrauding a federal child nutrition program of $250 million during the pandemic reported receiving an attempted bribe. The bribe was delivered to the juror's home by an unknown woman the night before closing arguments were set to conclude. She left a gift bag containing $120,000 in cash. Police were called and found the cash. The FBI is now investigating and has seized the defendants' cell phones. The 7 defendants have pleaded not guilty and denied any wrongdoing in the alleged $250 million fraud scheme through the Minnesota nonprofit Feeding Our Future.
