For Years now Windows has been a thorn in my side, and software has been getting buggier and buggier on it. However it never was an issue in my professional workflow until now. As I've been spending the last few years migrating my software stack to Open Source or Cross Platform alternatives I could move away from Windows. But before I drop all my money on a Mac, I thought I'd at least try out Linux to see if it's good enough to use as my primary desktop OS.
