00:03 Yes, I'm Andy, I'm the manager of Hootenanny in Glasgow, just on Siennik Square.
00:07 So we've got the Euros starting next week,
00:09 Scotland's first games against Germany on Friday.
00:11 We've got the warm up game today, but starting from next week,
00:14 it'll be all the Scotland games live on in Hootenanny.
00:17 I'm not sure why they started coming here, they've been coming for
00:20 a long, long time, and I think they just enjoy the atmosphere they get here.
00:24 We let them party, they play their bagpipes, they go a bit wild, and
00:28 we sort of let them get away with it.
00:29 So we're usually busy from early, they start all piling in from when we open,
00:33 and then we sort of full till about an hour before kickoff.
00:36 They'll all leave to go to the game, and then their normal customers who wanna watch
00:39 the game in Hootenanny then start filling in, so it's sort of a pretty non-stop day
00:43 for us.
00:43 Huge demand for the first game, we're pretty much totally full,
00:46 we're looking for that.
00:47 So, and then hopefully, as well as Scotland do, we'll keep doing better.
00:51 From the last Euros we found,
00:53 he has more enthusiasm as they're going on and playing well.
00:55 So hopefully we get more than three games out of it.
00:57 The last time was a bit harder, we're limited with capacity now,
01:00 it's let people in, they can all jump around, sing,
01:02 climb on each other if they want, and enjoy themselves.
01:04 Because the way it's featured, you can do three teams together, some groups,
01:08 I think we've got a good chance.
01:10 Germany's gonna be very hard, but hopefully we'll get something out of
01:12 the other two games, and then we'll see where it goes from there.
01:14 So we've got TVs everywhere, we've got the big beer garden outside here,
01:17 so there's TVs there, all inside.
01:19 We've got live music every Scotland game beforehand for a few hours to get the
01:23 people going for that, and something to fill the place, lots of beer,
01:26 food, and people enjoying themselves.
01:27 It's been pretty good so far, it was a probably slightly disappointing
01:32 result against Gibraltar, where I've expected a few more goals,
01:37 but the main thing was to come out of it without any serious injuries
01:42 to our key players.
01:44 I think tonight it'll be more of a Germany starting line-up.
01:51 I'm hoping he'll play the team that starts tonight against the starting
01:57 line-up for Germany, and we put in a 100% performance.
02:01 It's no a friendly tonight, it's a must-win game.
02:04 - Are you one of the lucky people heading over to Germany?
02:06 - I certainly am, I'm heading over on Monday morning.
02:09 - So are you direct into Germany, or are you gonna go clean?
02:12 - No, we're driving.
02:14 There's 11 of us going over in two camper vans.
02:18 We'll probably not bring two camper vans back with us, but we're looking forward to it.
02:22 So we're heading over on Monday, and we're coming back once we're out
02:26 the tournament so hopefully the 14th of July will be over there.
