00:03 Game one tomorrow night in sunrise, the Panthers are minus 135.
00:08 Oilers plus a buck 15 with a five and a half total.
00:12 >> [LAUGH] I mean, it's just brutal.
00:16 So I think Edmonton can do some serious damage in this series,
00:22 but I'm not sure I'm feeling it tomorrow night in sunrise at the Everglades.
00:28 At the Sawgrass, at the P.F. Changs, they got so much going for them.
00:34 At some level, I think the experience might pay off in game one.
00:38 Like we've been here, we've done this, let's go do it again the right way.
00:42 Fair enough, but after that, so you know how the Mavericks said,
00:47 you heard Kyrie today on Coast to Coast say, we just wanted to get it over with.
00:52 I don't believe that for a minute, they got their ass beat.
00:54 I do believe that tomorrow night, the team that has been there and
00:58 done that has an edge, and they need to take advantage of that edge.
01:02 I believe, frankly, Mike, in the first 20.
01:05 In the first 20 minutes, they need to put a couple in and say, we mean business.
01:10 We've been here, we're doing this this year, and we're winning.
01:13 And so if they can come out strong, get a lead, finish them off,
01:17 take game one, then the Oilers are really gonna have to work in game two and
01:21 then going back to Edmonton.
01:23 I do not believe the Panthers will have an easy time of the Edmonton Oilers in
01:27 this series at all.
01:28 But I think game one, they can take advantage of their experience.
01:32 >> I think that they can too, but I like the under.
01:35 I've watched enough of these Florida Panther games here in the playoff,
01:38 Scotty, to know what they all look like.
01:40 And most of them, at least like 80% of them,
01:42 have looked like 2-1, 3-2 type of hockey games.
01:46 >> What is it at?
01:47 >> And I'm expecting that 5.5 with -105 to the-
01:51 >> That really sucks.
01:52 It's funny, all year, every year, all year at six, every game six, and
01:57 then when they get to the playoffs, everything's 5.5.
02:00 >> 5.5, hey, that's how it goes.
02:03 That's how it goes when these games are tighter.
02:06 And I expect the same thing in this game one tomorrow night.
02:09 For the series, the Panthers are -130, the Oilers are a buck ten.
02:14 I will give you mine now, Panthers in seven, Scotty, Panthers in seven.
02:22 >> God, you just, I mean, it's like you punched me right in the onions.
02:27 Right there, I can't even respond to that.
02:30 >> It'll be a lot of frequent flyer miles back and
02:32 forth from Edmonton and South Florida.
02:34 >> Like I said, I hope that Randy Moeller and Goldie on Ice,
02:39 Steve Goldstein, get rings on their hand.
02:42 Two of the greatest guys you ever met in your life, the announcers for
02:45 the Panthers, and I just think the world of both of them.
02:50 And I'm rooting for them to get rings, but I'm here to tell you,
02:55 I'm still stupid enough to take the Edmonton Oilers in the series at +110.
03:01 >> Well, I believe it's like Paul Maurice just said,
03:07 it is a razor thin margin series.
03:11 I really do believe that.
03:13 As explosive as the Oilers are offensively,
03:16 the Panthers are very good at shutting teams down.
03:19 You saw them do it against the Rangers.
03:20 You've seen them do it against everyone else.
03:23 >> Yeah.
03:24 >> Let's see him stop this guy cuz he's faster than everyone on their team.
03:28 There is not one guy on the Florida Panthers that can skate with either
03:34 McDavid or Dreisaitl.
03:35 They're both faster than everyone on their team.
03:38 And do you remember, just remember if you will,
03:43 Hagelin is I think one of the worst players I ever saw in my life.
03:47 But he's one of the fastest skaters I ever saw in my life.
03:50 There wasn't one guy in two years in 16 and
03:53 17 that could skate with him when the Penguins won back to back Stanley Cups.
03:58 That's what you're dealing with here.
03:59 So for me, in a game seven, Connor McDavid will skate through everyone,
04:05 faster than everyone, around everyone.
04:08 Have you ever seen a guy skate around in circles from one point to the other?
04:11 He goes around the entire zone and no one can catch him.
04:14 And then he rifles a shot and scores.
04:17 He'll win the Stanley Cup by himself in game seven,
04:21 because no one can skate with him or his teammates.
04:25 They're the fastest team.
04:26 I'm betting on the fastest team with the best PK and the best power play.
04:29 >> And if they do win, it'll most likely be Connor McDavid who wins
04:34 the Conn Smythe Trophy.
04:35 >> Of course. >> He's my favorite right now.
04:36 >> Just like Lemieux and all of them.
04:39 >> Now Dreisaitl 750, if Dreisaitl had a monster series,
04:44 now remember the Conn Smythe is the entire playoffs.
04:46 It is not like the NBA where it's just the final.
04:49 Entire playoffs, it gives McDavid a heavy edge.
04:53 I think if Dreisaitl had a huge final, he could maybe overtake him, Scott.
04:56 >> Well, I think- >> You know where it is.
04:58 >> This is the way, and I know he's won the hard trophy Dreisaitl, but
05:02 this is the way it works now in the NHL.
05:04 This guy, McDavid, is their poster boy.
05:07 So he's gonna win the Conn Smythe and the MVP of the Stanley Cup finals,
05:11 because that's what happens when Mario Lemieux plays in the Stanley Cup finals.
05:15 He wins all the awards.
