00:00Hi, I'm Margaret Cho, and you're watching Life Minute TV.
00:04For me, it was really an experience that I've had. I'm a big dog lover. Unfortunately, I
00:15have had dogs who have passed away after being with me for decades, and so it's really something
00:22that I had an up-front knowledge of, an up-close knowledge of.
00:26The film is called All That You Love. I almost said All That I Love, because I love the film.
00:31It's about a woman who's going through grief after losing her dog, and kind of the ripple
00:34effect that it has with her friends and family, and it's a really beautiful, quiet film directed
00:38and written by Yin Tan.
00:40It's been really lovely, you know, working with everyone. Like, I think there was a lot
00:43of goodwill. I mean, it's good to work with really gifted comedians like Margaret and
00:47Jesse, too, because I feel like, you know, sometimes the subject matter of the film is
00:51like pretty heavy, and I think they're pretty light-hearted people, so it's kind of like
00:55it's good to sort of have that offset.
00:57She is such a joy. I've been a fan of hers for so long. The fact that I got to spend,
01:02you know, three weeks just hanging out with her and her beautiful dog, Lucia, was really,
01:06really fun. We had a great time.
01:09Weaving over an animal is not a small thing, and sometimes it can be more difficult to
01:15get over than a human being. You know, we build such a closeness with our companion
01:20animals, and so to me it was a really profound journey to go on with this film, and I'm really
01:25grateful that I got to do it.
