Five-year-old girl dies of suspected abuse, couple remanded

A five-year-old girl suspected of having been abused at Taman Malkop died at Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun on Monday (June 10).
Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad said the victim is believed to be the adopted daughter of a married couple, a 27-year-old woman and a 66-year-old man, who have since been arrested and placed under a six-day remand.
