00:06Welcome to Ahsaas Qurbani Appeal 2024
00:10and I am Dr. Syed Imran Wadood.
00:14We are here once again with the same resolve and the same thought
00:21that the Ahsaas Foundation, which was established 15 years ago,
00:25had raised its flag, and even today, Alhamdulillah, that journey is in progress.
00:29It is in progress with the cooperation of all of you,
00:31and we wish that this process continues in the same way.
00:35Today's proclamation, especially in reference to the Qurbani Appeal,
00:39if Allah the Almighty has given you the power to carry out this duty of sacrifice this year,
00:44if you are following the Sunnah of Ibrahim,
00:46then this sacrifice is obligatory on the people who have the power.
00:49If they are making this sacrifice, then try to make at least one part of it
00:54with the support of the Ahsaas Foundation.
00:58Dear viewers, we have been making sacrifices, Alhamdulillah,
01:00ever since we have regained consciousness.
01:01We see in our proximity that people make sacrifices with great enthusiasm.
01:07And certainly, the thought behind it is the same
01:11that hundreds of years ago, we saw that incident in history
01:16that the human mind, even to accept it,
01:18the human mind would be surprised that such an incident could happen.
01:22Can anyone make such a sacrifice in the presence of God?
01:25We are not presenting any proof of that sacrifice,
01:28but we are celebrating this festival in remembrance of that sacrifice.
01:32Allah the Almighty liked this sacrifice so much
01:35that Allah the Almighty made it obligatory for Muslims all over the world.
01:39And all the companions of the Prophet are making this sacrifice.
01:43So, we are not even able to present a fraction of that sacrifice.
01:47The purpose is the same as that of Hazrat Ibrahim,
01:50which was of Hazrat Ismail,
01:52that when the commandment of God comes, everything else is left behind.
01:56And instead of the commandment of God,
01:59a person presents himself as a sacrifice.
02:00We are also making this sacrifice while keeping that in mind.
02:03But where this thought is behind the sacrifice,
02:06if we include our part in a collective sacrifice,
02:10if we include our part in a sacrifice with an institution,
02:13and we are sitting somewhere else,
02:15and the sacrifice is being made somewhere else,
02:17then after the sacrifice,
02:20the issue of the meat and its distribution,
02:23we will not interfere in that, we will not have any role in that.
02:26And even knowing this, we take part in a collective sacrifice.
02:29So, definitely, this is also the reason behind this.
02:32Along with the philosophy of sacrifice,
02:35this is also the reason why we include the spirit of sacrifice.
02:39The sympathy that we have for our Muslim brothers and sisters,
02:43that is also seen in this.
02:44The issue of brotherhood between Muslims,
02:47which God and the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
02:50have declared Muslims to be one,
02:53that concept should also be re-established.
02:56So, if you take part in a collective sacrifice with the Assas Foundation,
02:59then you will get the reward of sacrifice,
03:01the reward of sacrifice, the reward of brotherhood,
03:05and the reward of brotherhood.
