00:29at the Independence Day jobs fair organized by the Department of Migrant Workers.

00:34He said it fits his skills because he is now a waiter in a restaurant in Manila.

00:39Ronald doesn't want to be an OFW, but his salary in the Philippines is not enough,

00:45especially since his family is going through a big trial.

00:49I want to be a land-based worker.

00:52I wish I had a cancer before.

00:56I just want to make up for it.

00:59Aside from the waiter, various skilled workers and professionals are now in need

01:03in many countries that joined the jobs fair,

01:06such as housekeepers, bakers, baristas, beauticians, broadcast managers, butchers,

01:12carpenters, cooks, service crews, mathematics teachers, and seafarers.

01:17There are more than 7,000 job orders from Australia, Bahrain, Brunei, Cambodia, China,

01:24Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Japan, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, Qatar, Slovakia,

01:31Thailand, UAE, US, and even Vanuatu.

01:35Nora, who will be applying for a job abroad for the first time,

01:39will try to be a housekeeper, even though she already finished two children in college.

01:45It's time for her to pursue her dreams and be free from her obligations as a parent.

01:52For me, I don't want to depend on my children right now

01:56because I want to live my life with money instead of nothing.

02:01According to the DMW,

02:03Filipino workers are becoming more in demand because of their hardworking,

02:11That's why the countries that want to make bilateral labor agreements in the Philippines are increasing.
