The Queen jokingly hinted at wanting to replace the King as patron during her third visit to London's Garden Museum. Camilla praised the museum's significance and explored an exhibition honouring women of the Bloomsbury artist group. Among the guests were royal florist Shane Connolly and TV gardener Alan Titchmarsh. The Queen quipped, “I know my husband’s patron, but I might have to nudge him... it’s such a special place.” Report by Covellm. 00:00I think, I don't know how many visits I've paid here now, quite a lot. I know my husband's
00:18the patron, but I might have to nudge him. I quite like to take that one away from him
00:26because it's such a special place that every time I'm asked I just have to come back again.
00:34And I think what's, you know, this wonderful exhibition celebrating women in gardening
00:40is so important and so beautifully curated by Claudia. I know it attracts many, many
00:48visitors. I'm sure it's going to attract a lot more, but it is, I'm so glad that you
00:53are celebrating all the women who are these great gardeners, because, you know, we do
01:00love gardening, speaking as a gardener myself. And, you know, it's quite often the men who
01:06get celebrated and not the women, so I think you're doing a brilliant job here by showing
01:11what they can do, so thank you very much indeed.
01:14Thank you.
01:15Thank you so much. This is our exhibition. This is Dame Clare Harris from Charleston.
01:25How are you?
01:26How nice to see you again.
01:27Very nice to see you, twice in a week.
01:29Twice in a week.
01:30Twice in a week.
01:31It was lovely, wasn't it?
01:32Yeah.
01:33It was really exciting.
01:34Any excuse to come back then.
01:37Oh.
01:38I don't see why not.
01:39Very nice.
01:40Thank you.
01:41Claudia.
01:42Hello Claudia.
01:43How are you?
01:44I hope you put the whole thing together.
01:45I did. I mean, I hear you're a fan of me.
01:46I am a fan of it, certainly.
01:47Yeah, and then, and I'll take you through the chisels, I think.
01:48Where they have all the operas.
01:49Yeah, yeah.
01:50There's still a lot of simplicity.
01:51So that tradition continues. It's really lovely to see things, I think, of the world
01:52that we have in the sections.
01:53I really love this painting.
01:54It's very strong.
01:55Yes, it's full of colours, and I think the way in which you can see the work, I think
01:56it's very sensitive.
01:57It's very strong.
01:58Very strong.
01:59It's very strong.
02:00It's very strong.
02:01Yes, it's very strong.
02:02It's very strong.
02:03I really love this painting. It's a very strong painting for prime.
02:09It's full of colours.
02:12I think the way in which people are trying to...
02:33...
02:48Ah, I wish you could smell it, chaps.
02:50It does smell absolutely wonderful. I don't have this flu.
02:54...
