00:00Obviously your father got to spend time with her, you know, following her around and being with her
00:05in intimate moments that a lot of people didn't, weren't privy to. Was there a specific conversation
00:10that they had that really sticks out to him or, you know, what was she really like when,
00:14you know, cameras weren't in her face all the time, which was, you know, all the time?
00:19There was one time in Egypt when they'd arranged sort of informal drinks and my father was a bit
00:26late to the drinks because he was processing his films and Prince Danu was there.
00:33And when he arrived, Dana came up to him and said, you know, why haven't you got to drink?
00:39And not realising that he'd arrived late. And my father just said sort of jokingly that,
00:45oh, it's because I'm a Muslim, they won't serve me. And so she said, no, no, no, we can't have
00:49that. And she ran off to get, to find a drink for him. And it was just then when she came back
00:58that he told her that they were joking. And they always used to joke around like that the whole
01:02time. There was another time on that, during that exact same time at the drinks reception,
01:10he got into a conversation with her and she said she was very nervous when it came to
01:16appearing in front of big sort of iconic landmarks. And she was visiting the
01:24Egypt the next day and she was going to be visiting the pyramids the next day.
01:28And she said, you know, I just, I just find myself very uneasy when I'm, when I have to pose in front
01:32of these sort of iconic, you know, about what to do. And my father says, well, you're so natural.
01:36Why don't you just pretend you're a model? And she just said, that's a great idea. Yeah, I'm
01:41going to try that. She goes, I'm going to, I'm going to be walking past the pyramids and just
01:45for a second, I'm going to pretend to be a model, but you have to capture it. And sure enough,
01:49the next day when she walked past the pyramids, very iconic picture, she sort of almost like a
01:56ballerina went up on a, on a sort of tiptoes and like gave this look like, look, look like she was,
02:05you know, walking like a model. And my father was able to capture it. And when you see the picture,
02:10you can see exactly that she's sort of really posing, like doing like a model walk. So there
02:15was always, they had a good relationship, but I think it was a lot about sort of
02:18humor and, and, and trust and just having that connection.
