00:57In Al Futaim, after-sales is not just after the sale of a car. The journey starts much earlier, before the start, before the sale of a new car.
01:14In Al Futaim Automotive, we do prep almost over 100,000 new vehicles every year before it arrives at the port.
01:23Every car which comes into the port, it's managed in terms of quality, specific requirements from the brands.
01:29And as per the UAE regulations, the car is prepared.
01:32When they come in on the boat for say two months, the battery needs to be properly charged.
01:36And these cars are prepared by our very well-trained EV technicians.
01:40From there, the cars have to be shipped across the country to the showrooms.
01:44That is also done by Al Futaim Logistics and also our best-in-class in supply and distribution of parts.
01:51Our journey begins at the Kizad Port, where cars from the Al Futaim brand portfolio arrive.
01:57Including brands like Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Volvo Cars, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, BYD and Polestar.
02:07From here, they move to the yard and then on to the pre-delivery inspection center.
02:12At the PDI center, our team kick-starts the process with meticulous 90-plus checkpoints to ensure every aspect meets the OEM quality standards.
02:23And even take the vehicle for road tests to ensure peak vehicle performance.
02:31Additionally, our experts also install post-production options such as parking sensors and rear-view cameras if they aren't already in the vehicle.
02:41And also ensure compliance with UAE regulations by installing fire extinguishers and emergency kits.
02:48For electrical vehicles, we run different specialized checks which include battery performance and software updates.
02:55Al Futaim's pre-delivery inspection center is manned by hundreds of highly qualified and well-trained technicians.

04:13This facility works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
04:19It is completely a paperless operation managed by the state-of-the-art SAP EWM system.
04:24We have a dedicated fleet of 75 trucks delivering to our customers 4 times a day to all the customers including garages and service centers.
