00:00We'll be right back.
00:03The Motor City between the Tigers and the Nationals minus 152.
00:07The number in favor of Detroit at Comerica Park nine and a half is that total DRS.
00:13What do you like here between the Tigers and the Nats today?
00:16We do have warm weather close to 90 degrees at first pitch.
00:19However, 15 mile an hour wind blowing in from right field here in Detroit might damper some expectations
00:24and also take a look at Patrick Corbin.
00:25One of those pictures that you generally like to get after why
00:28because if you just can stack right-handed batters up against them,
00:31he struggles because you take a look at his last 30 days at 348.
00:34I saw in a way to don't base percentage of 413 against right-handed batters.
00:38Here's the issue Detroit is going to come with probably eight of nine batters.
00:43That will be from the right-hand side said sign me up now.
00:46You might have to take a little bit of a leap of faith
00:48because everybody in that lineup outside of Jake Rogers the catcher
00:51who bats eighth has terrible numbers over the past month against left-handed pitching.
00:56So it's a shame you're trying to kind of burning out that lineup by saying,
00:59all right, I'll still take them.
01:00But boy, don't be surprised if Corbin has a decent outing
01:03because this guy's can't hit lefties.
01:05Take a look at Casey Mize on the opposite side here for the Detroit Tigers.
01:08He's been struggling over the past month with lefty and righty batters.
01:11But again, the issue is going to be who in that lineup can actually step up for Washington
01:15had some success a couple nights ago Lane Thomas.
01:18He actually has a 205 ISO and a 340 weighted on base percentage gets right-handed pitching over the past month.
01:23Even CJ Abrams who is red hot at the plate doesn't have great numbers
01:27against right-handed pitching over the past month.
01:29So this game should be an over but those windy conditions
01:32and the way these batters line up against the pitchers
01:34probably has been leaning more towards the under
01:36but some average RBI shots from the Washington Nationals though.
