00:00Thank you so much for joining us today.
00:30And it really was like an escape for me, like an escape into an imaginary world that I created.
00:43And I think we all did that, right?
00:46We all were trying to figure out what was going on in the world and what was going on in our lives.
00:52We all were trying to figure out ways to either skip into books or movies or wine.
01:05Some people bought pets.
01:07It was just like it was such a time when we all had to figure out ways to get through it together.
01:14And the way that I got through it was thinking about making an album that I would show you and give to you
01:20and that we could connect over because I felt so far apart.
01:23You know, we had to cancel shows because of the pandemic.
01:27And I was really missing you guys, so I started reading and making music.
01:31And I started making music that was a little different than what I'd made before
01:34because I'd always been very dear diary about my music, you know, very autobiographical, which is really fun.
01:41And I don't think I'll ever really stop doing that.
01:44But I do also love creating fictional characters.
01:47And I'm going to do some of them later.
01:49What are the new fictional characters?
01:54One of them is a girl named Melody.
