Four years later, during Sri Lanka’s tour of the West Indies, Dananjaya took a hat-trick in the 1st T20I, defending a score of 131. However, Kieron Pollard hit him for 6 sixes in the next over, propelling the West Indies to 98 runs in just 6 overs, and they won the match in 13.1 overs.
