Two cows roaming on the Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP) in Kelana Jaya on Sunday (June 16) are believed to have escaped from a nearby surau.

Petaling Jaya District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Shahrulnizam Jaafar reported on Monday that initial investigations revealed the cows' presence caused an accident involving a Perodua Myvi.

00:15that his team detected a viral video on Facebook uploaded by Mo Adno Oramin, showing the two
00:21cows loose on the highway.
00:23In a statement on Monday, ACP Shahrul Nizam said the incident is believed to have happened
00:29after the cows escaped from the nearby surau and entered the LDP near Paradigm Mall towards
00:34Puchong.
00:36Initial investigations revealed that the presence of the cows caused an accident involving a
00:41perodua maivi.
00:42However, the accident did not result in any injuries to the driver.
00:47ACP Shahrul Nizam urged those who recorded the incident to come forward to the Investigation
00:53and Traffic Enforcement Division of the Pertahling Jaya District Police Headquarters or to contact
00:58Traffic Investigating Officer Inspector Mohammad Hisham Azi at 017-7378704 to assist with the
01:07investigation.
01:08The case is being investigated under Section 33, Subsection 1 of the Road Traffic Rules
01:131959.
01:15The police remind the public not to speculate about the incident in a manner that could
01:19cause public concern.
