The German far-right party AfD finished well in the European elections, but has also suffered serious legal setbacks.

00:05Germany, AFD, against the backdrop of the party's growth in the last European and local

00:12Historian Jens-Christian Wagner said on Monday that the far-right AFD is too dangerous to
00:18be allowed to continue in German politics.
00:21AFD finished second with around 15.9 percent in the European Parliamentary Elections, and
00:51in early June.
00:52Campaigners at the AFD ban now say a procedure that enders and stops the populist far-right
00:58AFD party was badly needed.
