Celtics buzzing for leader Al Horford after NBA Championship triumph

Al Horford's Boston Celtics team-mates are thrilled that the 38-year-old has won his first NBA Championship.

00:00And I'm so grateful. I know I've said it before but it's the glory, glory to the

00:07Lord for me for putting me in this position. It's been a lot of years. I

00:12don't think it's sunk in yet. You know I'm going through emotions right now but

00:18I don't I don't feel like it's over. This is an unbelievable feeling. Yeah the

00:24confetti everything's going on but it just hasn't hit me yet.

00:27Yeah nobody deserved it more than Al. Al has just been a great, not just leader on the

00:33court but off the court as well. Like just a mentor, somebody I know I can

00:37talk to about life and he's gonna give me great advice about family, about finances,

00:43about just life, adversity, whatever the case is. Al has just been that guy for me

00:49and for us and like just his performance all season long. Al is 37, 38 years old and we leaned on him so much,

00:59probably too much for you know his age and where he's at and he just delivered.

01:05Great teammate. It's been an honor to be by his side. Al Horford is a real life

01:11legend and hero so it's been great to be his teammate. Obviously once I became his

01:17teammate it was like one of the ultimate goals of this season. Knowing the type of

01:25person that Al is, knowing the leader that he is, even off the court the father that he is, just an

01:31all-around great person, a great human. I'd run through a big wall for him so I'm so happy that he got one.

01:37Al is an unbelievable teammate, an unbelievable person. Everybody loves him. He's a great leader and

01:46knowing how he has been chasing this for so long in his career and finally get it

01:51done and playing at a high, high level at his age, man he's... I don't even know what

01:58like words I could use to describe him. Everybody loves him and he gave

02:03everything to this team and he deserves it more than anybody.
