00:00A consortium of NATO allies confirmed funding for four European tech companies from the
00:051 billion euros NATO Innovation Fund, or NIF, launched in 2022 after the Russian invasion
00:11of Ukraine to bolster defence, security and resilience.
00:15The fund, supported by 24 NATO member states including Finland and Sweden, invested in
00:20London-based Fractal AI, Germany's ARX Robotics, British manufacturer Icomat and Welsh company
00:27Spaceforge.
00:28The NIF partnered with venture capital firms to support deep tech investments across Europe.
