00:00Is it over tonight in Sunrise the Panthers one win away from
00:07their first ever Stanley Cup in franchise history Edmonton
00:12trying to eat out another win and send this thing back to
00:16Alberto. What will we see in game number five of the Stanley
00:19Cup final and a duo of the NHL is here to preview it all and
00:23give her us or give us her breakdown on this Tuesday
00:27morning Anna. Thank you so much for joining us here on this
00:30Tuesday on the early line. Thanks for having me season's
00:34almost over guys and the reason we have a game five is because
00:38of Saturday in Edmonton a game that maybe some thought
00:42Edmonton could win to avoid the sweep against Florida. I don't
00:46think anybody and I was expecting a seven goal margin
00:49in an eight one Oilers win eight goals against Sergei
00:54Bobrovsky who gave up five on 11 shots faced and was yanked
00:59from game number four. How did Saturday night's blowout come
01:03to be? Yeah, I don't think anyone saw that coming. That's
01:06like the all time best puck line. Look if you took that in
01:09that game because that was insane for the Edmonton Oilers.
01:13I thought they would win that one. I didn't think the Florida
01:16Panthers were going to sweep, but that was a statement
01:18victory by Edmonton. This entire team showed up Connor
01:20McDavid had a four point night for himself and their role
01:24players to like Dylan Holloway had a three point night top to
01:27bottom. Great game by the Edmonton Oilers like they're a
01:30good team. They have been a good team. Florida's dominated
01:32so far this series, but Edmonton showed that maybe it's not done
01:36just quite yet. Yeah, we saw in the NBA game number four
01:40against a team that would an 03 deficit absolutely hammer that
01:44team and move forward then got beat in the very next game in
01:47the opponent's building. We sort of see that setting up
01:49here for the Edmonton Oilers an unbelievable performance on
01:52Saturday night. Now they have to back that up tonight, but if
01:54we are looking at the money line for the series price is
01:56still substantial here for Florida at a minus 1200 to win
02:00the series. Edmonton is at a plus 720 price Florida minus one
02:04and a half games here at minus 375 and Edmonton getting the
02:07one and a half at a plus 285. Now in the NBA that series
02:11ended here. I'm not going to ask who's going to win tonight's
02:13game, but buying in on Edmonton are the vibes higher. Is it
02:16just you know what that's one game you probably can just
02:18throw out because it just didn't go Florida's way and I
02:22mean hockey's hockey for a reason anything can happen in
02:25the sport. A team has come back from an 03 deficit and
02:28completed the reverse sweep before in this tournament. So
02:31you never know it was the Toronto Maple Leafs and that's
02:34another Canadian team. If you want to go down this rabbit
02:37hole of superstitions, I don't know if this year Edmonton can
02:39pull off the reverse sweep, but never say never that was a huge
02:43win in game four for sure that definitely changed the tides a
02:46little bit. I wonder how that impacts Sergei Bobrovsky more
02:49than anyone else on Florida because he's been playing
02:51really well throughout this series. You wonder if he starts
02:54to falter all of a sudden does Edmonton breakthrough because
02:56they're big guys still haven't showcased how great they can be
03:00like Conor McDavid has, but I'm still waiting for a little bit
03:03more from Ryan Eugene Hopkins, Leon Dreisaitl, Zach Hyman like
03:06once those gates open that's tough for Florida. I still
03:09think the Panthers are the stronger team in this series.
03:12They just play a style of hockey. That's really tough for
03:14Edmonton to play again. So I'm still rocking with Florida, but
03:17never say never. And Florida still a minus 1200 favorite to
03:22win Lord Stanley's Cup and they still have a 3-1 series
03:26advantage headed back to Sunrise for game number five on
03:30home ice tonight where they have been victorious by a three
03:33goal margin in each of the first two games of this series.
03:38So and as we look at the series outlook overall, how much do
03:43you weigh momentum into this when it's not just a win for
03:47Edmonton, but a seven goal difference? Does that carry
03:51over? Does Sergei Bobrovsky still have that confidence?
03:54What do you think is the biggest change we will see in
03:57game five tonight? Momentum is everything. So definitely it's
04:02going to play a factor. I think game five actually might be the
04:04closest game that we see because Florida has been a very
04:07dominant team throughout the postseason. They looked really
04:09great to kick off this series. Edmonton had their statement
04:12victory and now I think that maybe the goal margin is going
04:15to decrease a little bit in this game five. I think
04:18Edmonton didn't like the way they started. They came back
04:21and it's going to meet somewhere in the middle because
04:23they still haven't figured out the Florida Panthers. That was
04:25not a great game for Florida in game four, but I'm still
04:28concerned about how Edmonton matches up against this team
04:31when they're playing their best. And on the other hand,
04:33still, as I said earlier, waiting for Edmonton's big
04:36players to have that big huge impact game that they're known
04:38to have during the regular season. If they have that, you
04:41wonder how Florida responds. I think this is going to be one
04:44where we see like maybe like a one goal differential. That's
04:47what I'll say. Home ice advantage. We'll see how it
04:50plays out and also the cup once again will be in the building
04:53and the Florida Panthers are expecting to win this and also
04:56from an odds perspective at the Fandula Sportsbook overnight
04:58lines minus 134 price here for Florida. That's actually
05:01increased now to a minus 140 price live and a total listed
05:04at five and a half, but also as you talk about Anna other
05:07players being able to step up the one guy. It seems like
05:10we're waiting on here. Zach Hyman, the leader here in the
05:12gold scoring market for game number five at a plus 135 price
05:16followed by Reinhardt, McDavid and Dreisaitl. The keys to the
05:19game here. Let's just start with the Edmonton Oilers. Is it
05:21this the big line has to dominate tonight or is it the
05:24scar stars that we haven't seen shine yet like a Zach Hyman
05:27finding the back of the net? I think exactly what you're
05:31saying. Like Zach Hyman scoring goals, Leon Dreisaitl, their
05:35power play, Ryan Nugent Hopkins. Those are the players
05:37that got Edmonton to this point and it's honestly
05:39good news for them that they were able to win that game
05:42largely on the back of their role players and be where they
05:45are in this series because of their role players. That's
05:47always been a concern for Edmonton is how deep is this
05:50team really and now you're seeing some of these guys shine
05:52out and that's really nice for the Edmonton Oilers to know
05:55because the Panthers are a deep team. So I'm taking a look at
05:57the positive there, but in order to defeat Florida, you
06:00really need guys like Zach Hyman to show up on the other
06:02side of the ice though too for the Florida Panthers. Matthew
06:05Kachuk has been pretty much absent in the series. He's had
06:07only one assist so far and he's a player who I was looking at
06:11to make quite a little bit of an impact. He's had at least
06:13four shots on goal in two of his past three games though. So
06:16you wonder if he's due for a goal as well. Connor McDavid
06:19did score his first goal of this cup final in game number
06:23four. Also had three dimes as Edmonton did win eight to one
06:28for Florida and who only scored that single goal in game number
06:32four. Who do you think sparks the offense tonight and maybe
06:36tickles the twine for the Panthers? I wanted to say
06:39Matthew Kachuk as I said earlier, he's just due for one,
06:41you know. So I feel like if he's had as much shot volume as
06:44he's had lately, it would be great for him to break through.
06:47Florida wins this game. You would like to see Matthew
06:49Kachuk find his name onto the score sheet. Vladimir
06:52Tereschenko though, I gotta give him credit. He's the one
06:54who has goals in back-to-back games right now and he's had at
06:56least three shots on goal in his past three games. He's been
06:59playing really well in this series right now. So that's a
07:03player that flies under the radar. There's so many names we
07:05talk about on Florida as well with Sasha Barkov and Sam
07:07Reinhardt and like Carter Verhage, Sam Bennett. The list
07:11goes on and on. I feel like Tereschenko's kind of fallen
07:13off but he's been the one performing as of late. I
07:16wouldn't be surprised if his hot streak continued in some
07:18way too. And if we take a look at the goalie situation here
07:21for Florida which has been rock solid with Bob Brovsky but a
07:24little bit of that doubt here creeps in after that last game.
07:27Are you worried at all that we might have a slow start for
07:30Bobrovsky and what that means to Florida or that game you
07:32just wipe it out back on your home ice back to business here
07:35for Florida? I am a little bit worried because heading into
07:38the Eastern Conference Final like Sergei Bobrovsky did not
07:41have a good save percentage like the Florida Panthers
07:44entire team was the reason that they got to this point and
07:46they were kind of playing to cover up the way Sergei
07:50Bobrovsky was playing and then he played well against the
07:52Rangers. He had a phenomenal start to the Stanley Cup Final
07:55as well and now we're we saw before the last game he was the
07:58favorite to win the Conn Smythe when in reality this hasn't
08:01been like the most stellar postseason for him for him from
08:04start to finish. So I am a little bit worried because we've
08:06seen in the past when Sergei Bobrovsky is hot. He's hot and
08:09when he's not he goes on these cold streaks. This would be the
08:11one of the worst times ever for him to falter a little bit, but
08:14after an 8-1 loss like my goodness, how does that not get
08:17in your head a little so Edmonton if they can take
08:20advantage of that. I am definitely concerned about
08:21Bobrovsky. So you see the Conn Smythe, Sergei Bobrovsky
08:26right now the man known as Bob still an ever so slight minus
08:30money favorite at minus 105 Sasha Barkov at plus 105 and
08:35let's say it's over tonight and the Florida Panthers claim to
08:38Stanley Cup in just five games. Who would you have winning the
08:41Conn Smythe Award? Yeah, I don't know how Sergei Bobrovsky is
08:45still like at the top of this list. I gotta ask him some
08:47questions about if he's sending gift baskets to Vegas because
08:50after last game like Sasha Barkov is the clear answer to
08:53me. I said that before last game. He's been consistent from
08:56start to finish this postseason. He's a great two-way player.
09:00He's been dominant not only as like a producer of points, but
09:03also shutting down the other team's offense though. He's been
09:06my answer from the get-go for the Florida Panthers and now
09:09especially after game four. It's a no-brainer for me. I think it
09:11should be Sasha Barkov. Some plus money on Barkov and to do
09:16it from the NHL. We appreciate the time. Enjoy game five
09:19tonight.
