00:00It was four days of rain, look how it is, it is in danger,
00:04that is, we are in danger and the people who are also down there.
00:07Four children live and people live where they play in the corridor.
00:11Look at the water, where it is taken, the water is contaminated.
00:17Hello, good afternoon to all the followers of ADN Cuba.
00:21Here I am in the house of San Dalio Mejia Zulueta,
00:27political prisoner for more than five occasions on the opposition island,
00:32firm to the struggle.
00:34Look, here there was, this collapsed here,
00:39because it has been raining for more than four days today.
00:43Look here, where the neighbors went to the government
00:48to report said collapse, for the reason that four children live below
00:55and people live where they play in the corridor.
00:58There are children, look at the pieces of cement,
01:01but the government does not give a solution to any of this,
01:05because this is in danger.
01:07Look, in these conditions lives San Dalio.
01:12Then his sister Madeleine chose to take him home,
01:16because San Dalio was given an extra penalty from prison 1580 for his state of health,
01:23where he cannot stay at the moment in the house,
01:26for fear that this will continue to fall or he will fall,
01:30because he has to walk leaning against the walls.
01:34What do you have to say to the world,
01:37so that they see your situation and that of your brother San Dalio?
01:41Well, I see that it was four days of rain, look how this is.
01:45It is in danger, that is, we are in danger and the people who are also below.
01:50The only thing I want is that they come and give them a solution to this.
01:53Meanwhile, I will be with my brother,
01:55I will have him where I am, in the house where I have the house,
02:00to see if then they can help him,
02:02to give him something, you understand me,
02:04and to fix this here too.
02:06Because he also lives,
02:08we also live, this is a family house,
02:10he lives on this side and on the other side the part of the house of the other four families.
02:14So I need help for this,
02:16and I also need help because it is like everything.
02:19Of course, the government of Old Havana has to recognize
02:22that they are not asking for only one help for San Dalio,
02:26because we understand that from their political position,
02:30for San Dalio they will not want to do anything,
02:32but children live in the building.
02:35Many people live, look, as you can see here below,
02:39look how these families live in this building.
02:44This is a total danger for the balcony,
02:47everything is deteriorated because it has been many years.
02:56We are asking everyone, look at the water,
02:59where it is taken, the water is contaminated,
03:02look at the stones here.
03:09Look at the stones,
03:12look at the ceilings of the building that can be contaminated
03:16with the scarcity that Havana presents at the moment with the issue of water,
03:22which never ends, the issue of water.
03:26And we want the government of Havana,
03:28when it sees this complaint on social networks,
03:31to do us a favor, to go to the building
03:36and give a solution to the issue.
03:43Reporting for ADN Cuba, from Havana Vieja, Pedro Quiala, Julio César Cónjura.
