00:00You know, Jacob, one of the least interesting finals, and let's just be honest, a really

00:07long time.

00:08Like, the games were just, you know, not compelling, even though, you know, last year's series

00:13was similar in the way that Denver dominated Miami.

00:16I don't know.

00:17It just felt different.

00:18You had Nicola Jokic playing at a very high level.

00:21There was just something missing about this series.

00:23Now, it takes nothing away from the Boston Celtics.

00:25They played fantastic.

00:26They were the best team in the NBA from start to finish.

00:29But just these games, Jacob, were just not that close, you know?

00:34And maybe that's why.

00:35I don't know.

00:36But I just, to me, it was a disappointing finals.

00:39There certainly wasn't much drama in these finals, you know?

00:42We kind of came in.

00:43There was a lot of exciting storylines with Kyrie Irving going back to Boston, playing

00:47against his former team, Christaps Porzingis playing against his former team.

00:52You know, we were hoping to see some greatness from Luka Doncic, Jason Tatum, Jalen Brown,

00:56Kyrie too.

00:57All these guys had the potential to, you know, be great and keep these games close.

01:02But all the games felt like blowouts, like you said.

01:05They were sort of out of reach.

01:06I know Dallas fought back in a few of the first games to make it close late before Boston

01:10pulled away again in all three of those.

01:13But there just really wasn't much drama.

01:15The Celtics kind of went up 3-0.

01:17So I can definitely sympathize with those who say it's not an exciting finals because

01:23it really wasn't.

01:24There wasn't too much drama, which I know Celtics fans will be happy about because there

01:28was too much drama with the Celtics for about five years there.

01:31But I definitely think that there's something to the fact that these games just weren't

01:36close, weren't competitive, despite on paper being an intriguing matchup.
