Speaking at the dinner in celebration of the 50thh anniversary of diplomatic ties between Malaysia and China in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday (June 19) night, Chinese Premier Li Qiang said both nations have treated each other with sincerity which has brought the two even closer.
“To name 2024 the Year of China-Malaysia Friendship is of special significance. The word “friendship” carries great weight and it's something especially precious today in a world fraught with changes and turbulence,” he said.
