00:05However, over time, it was worth waiting, so to speak, because yesterday we received this information from Mrs. Wojwoda
00:12that we will get financing, that we have entered this basic level.
00:17This is due to the fact that many self-government entities are struggling with financial difficulties
00:20and are often unable to pay or raise their own investment to these investments, which are multi-million.
00:27In this way, we managed to enter this list and we got financing at a height of about PLN 12,300,000.
00:38This investment will cost a total of PLN 20 million.
00:42Therefore, the investment from our side is PLN 8 million, although I have an initial declaration from Mr. Starowski
00:49due to the fact that we have a cross-section of the county roads here, also with Wierzbiczana Street,
00:55so the East Street, and here this route from Reymont to the East is also a county road,
01:02that we will receive financial assistance from the county at a height of PLN 2 million.
01:06So our own investment will be reduced to about PLN 6 million.
01:11Of course, we will see what it will look like after the tender.
01:13However, when it comes to the road itself, it is about 1.3 km, so quite a long section of the road.
01:21It is from the East Street to the city limits.
01:26A 6-meter road with sidewalks on both sides will be built here, as well as bicycle paths,
01:33with crossings for pedestrians, with the replacement of lighting,
01:37as well as with the construction of sanitary and rain sewerage from Kasztyrańska Street to the city limits,
01:46so the comfort of the inhabitants will also increase in this way.
01:50There will be two roundabouts on this road.
01:52The first roundabout is the one I was talking about, i.e. the roundabout at the intersection of Wierzbiczana and Wschodnia.
01:58However, the second roundabout will be at Przeniczna Street,
02:02so at the end of this road, before leaving for the county.
02:09So we will have two roundabouts, as well as four crossings for pedestrians.
02:17These are Orna, Mazowiecka, Rubież and Kasztyrańska streets.
02:23These crossings will also be elevated, so in this way we increase the safety of the road traffic,
02:30we reduce the speed on this road, the roundabout will also be slowed down,
02:34active signs will also be used.
02:37As I said before, a crossroad for pedestrians, so I think it will be a high standard when it comes to safety on this road,
02:43and above all, comfort for the inhabitants, because as we know today,
02:46this road is only an asphalt overlay, without hardened sides, without sidewalks,
02:52so this safety is neglected here, and the inhabitants of the city in general,
02:58but also Arkuszewo, very often proposed to make this road,
03:06to make a new road here, so in this way it will be possible to do it.
03:12When will the work begin, how long will it take, and what difficulties do the inhabitants have to deal with?
03:17The work will definitely take place in stages, and we will start, first of all, after signing an agreement with Wojewoda,
03:26I think it will take place in July, so we will be able to announce the tender at the beginning of August,
03:33so the signing of the agreement is probably at the beginning of September,
03:37and then the question is when the contractor, of course, will have the date of execution,
03:42we set a two-year deadline, theoretically, it should be until the fall of 2026,
03:48we will see how it will result from the contract,
03:51but when the contractor starts working, probably this year,
03:58but it will be, as I said, scheduled for two years, and these works will also take place in stages,
04:04so we will probably start with the reconstruction of Wschodnia Street, or this roundabout,
04:10and then we will go towards the city borders,
04:12so when it comes to difficulties, there will be bypasses,
04:17probably through Roosevelt Street, through the entrance to Wschodnia Street,
04:23and then these streets, which are already residential streets for the inhabitants,
04:31and this main transit route will probably run somewhere outside the city of Gniezno,
04:36that is, mainly through Jankówka in the direction of Trzemeczno.
