విజయవాడ-గుంటూరు నగరాల్ని అమరావతితో అనుసంధానించే రైల్వే లైన్ ఎట్టకేలకు కదిలింది. ఎర్రుపాలెం నుంచి అమరావతి మీదుగా నంబూరు వరకూ 56 కిలో మీటర్ల కొత్త లైన్ ఏర్పాటుకు రైల్వేశాఖ సిద్ధమైంది. భూసేకరణకు నోటిఫికేషన్ కూడా ఇచ్చింది.
