Record 3,000 nude swimmers plunge into the River Derwent

Dark Mofo may be scaled back, but the festival's annual nude swim is still making big waves. More swimmers than ever before threw off their towels at dawn to run into the bracing waters of the River Derwent to mark the winter solstice.
