The iconic show ‘Kota Factory’ has returned with its third season. In an exclusive conversation with IANS, Tillotama opened up about her role in the series and talked about its impact on the young generation. She said, “I think the love that people have for this show is because they were ignored for so long and someone came along and told the story, a show that took care of young people. This show has truly represented the angst and joy of the entire nation. It is making teachers rethink their way of teaching. I am very honored to be a part of this show.” The cast includes Jitendra Kumar, Mayur More, Ranjan Raj, Alam Khan, Ahsaas Channa, Revathi Pillai, and Urvi Singh, with Tillotama Shome joining the new season. ‘Kota Factory season 3’ is now streaming on Netflix.

00:11was very happy to be invited and actually I was very I actually genuinely
00:16feel very honored to be invited and they're tired of hearing this but I'm
00:21going to repeat it anyway I really do feel that this show there was a there
00:27was a vacuum there was a certain emptiness and a certain failure that
00:32this show has corrected and that failure was our lack of empathy for young India
00:42you know and it is the largest youth population and instead of supporting
00:50empathizing creating space our stories were all about adults our films you know
00:57and and so I think what TVF did with Kota factory was really placed the youth
01:05in the center of their stories and their worries and their hopes and as as as a
01:11civilization you know as human beings we worry so much about what's the future
01:16but if you're really so worried about the future then just take care of the
01:20young people because they are the future you know and this show really does that
01:24you know I think the love that people have for this show is because they they
01:30were ignored for so long and someone came along and told a story that took
01:35care of took care of young people and you know and so I'm very very very
01:43honored to be a part of a show with such an impact you know Jeetu Bhaiya's
01:48character that Jeetendra has played so incredibly and all the students that
01:54populate the world of Kota factory Mayur and you know and Revathi and Ranja
02:00Nalam, Esas all of them have created Urmi they have they have actually
02:08represented the angst and the joy of you know the entire nation so to be part of
02:17something like this which actually is making a difference which is actually
02:20making teachers in Kota think that they need to rethink about their role as
02:25teachers it's huge yeah it's really huge I I'm so lucky
