00:00I've always said, pound for pound, Kevin is not only one of the most talented guys ever,
00:05but my favorite guy I've ever worked with from The Guardian to Yellowstone, his preparation,
00:09his attitude, how hard he worked, being a family guy, me, you know, my wife Revae and
00:14I, we have five kids.
00:15He's got a bunch of kids himself.
00:16So we get each other and it was such an honor to be part of that show with him in that iconic
00:21character that he played.
00:22But time, things happen after time and, and schedules conflict and, you know, I love Kevin
00:28like crazy.
00:29I also love Taylor and David Glasser at 101.
00:33So I've been in this really fortunate position to be not only, and we'll talk about Sylvester
00:37Stallone in a second, you know, now that I'm on Tulsa King, but Yellowstone to me was something
00:41that was so amazing to be part of in the, in the culture that it, that it said and everything
00:46else in the Westerns that we're all doing now, all because of Yellowstone.
00:50Neil, is this just a timing thing and he's, Kevin Costner is very busy with other projects
00:54or are there other things happening behind the scenes?
00:56No, it was really just a timing thing.
00:58It seems, you know, what Kevin was saying before that it's really, he was off doing
01:02Horizon, Taylor's doing his shows and this one took a while to get cooking for the, for
01:06the last season.
01:07So, you know, it's really between those guys, but I think Cole Hauser stepping up into that
01:12position now as the chief Dutton kind of guy will, I think he's going to be just fine.
01:16I think the fans are going to absolutely love this show, but Kevin is what, what made the
01:21franchise, you know, Kevin was it, Kevin was everything and he will be sorely missed on
01:26this show for certain.
01:28Kevin Costner, like I said, pound for pound, you know, one of the greatest actors, if not
01:32the greatest actor, as far as I'm concerned of all time, he listens as an actor better
01:36than anyone in the history of cinema.
01:38He and Robert Redford are to me and DeNear are the best listeners as actors.
01:44And I learned so much by working with Kevin.
