00:06Contractually, I've signed on for three seasons.
00:09So yeah, we're coming back.
00:11Now, when we're coming back, I don't know.
00:14The thing about Euphoria is you get the call,
00:17and you're just ready.
00:18You're ready to go film.
00:19You're ready to be on set.
00:20And so we're all kind of, I think, well,
00:23I'm not sitting around waiting by the phone.
00:25But we know that at any point, we can get the call.
00:28No, filming hasn't begun.
00:30But, you know, I've stayed busy.
00:32Today, I'm actually going to the premiere for my new movie,
00:35Sound of Hope, the story of Possum Trot.
00:37I did a stand-up routine at the improv,
00:40and it went viral, talking about me being broke
00:42and, you know, warnings and day at a comeback
00:44so we can start filming.
00:45It was a joke.
00:46You know, of course, times are hard.
00:48And as a performer, I have to find ways to make money.
00:51That's why I do stand-up.
00:53But, you know, it's a joke.
00:55It was all tongue-in-cheek.
00:57So, you know, it just spread it like wildfire.
01:00And unfortunately, some people don't have a sense of humor.
01:03So, yeah, all is well over here.
01:06Well, I would say the main reason for delay
01:09is obviously the strike.
01:11We had a couple deaths in the cast and crew.
01:16So I think we're all just in a place of holding,
01:19whether that's, like, you know, emotionally, physically.
01:22Of course, people with schedules and conflicting.
01:25And I was filming for a year on this film.
01:28You know, so I think it's just a matter of
01:30everybody getting on the same page
01:32and also creating something really magical
01:35for people to, you know, sink their teeth into.
01:38Because Sam is, I mean, he's gonna bring it.
01:41And so we want to make sure that,
01:43even though it feels like it's taking a long time,
01:46I think it'll be worth the wait.
01:47I think putting the show, like, years ahead
01:51where everyone is out of high school
01:53and things have kind of progressed,
01:55whether good or bad, is a great move
01:57because Sam really understands the life of an addict.
02:02So I trust him in writing a script
02:05that will reflect not only the good, the bad,
02:09the progress that Wu's gonna make,
02:11the family's gonna make, her friends,
02:13her circle of friends are gonna make.
02:14So I think it's a good move.
02:15And I think we've kind of seen
02:17the high school drama play out.
02:19And so it's time to really get into the real-life world.
02:22And I think Sam is gonna definitely
02:25knock it out of the park.
02:26There's a lot of rumors online
02:27about the show being set five years ahead
02:30and they're out of high school.
02:32We don't know.
02:33Like, Sam is literally writing, you know, these scripts.
02:37And so it could be multiple lines of time jumps, you know?
02:46So that's the great thing about Euphoria, you know?
02:49It can go so many different ways.
02:50So I can't confirm the rumors,
02:52but, you know, hopefully in five years, you know,
02:56mama still got it.
02:57So we'll see.
