00:00It's a fantastic setting isn't it? Speaking to a lot of people at the show today they go to quite
00:03a lot of car shows and they come here and they just say this is their favourite. It's such a
00:07beautiful setting amongst the trees. Well I've been involved in it for the last eight years or
00:12so since I joined Rotary but I think this particular one's been going for probably about
00:1620 years or so now at this particular venue. Well we support a vast number of charities and have
00:22done over many years. The specific ones we're supporting today from the proceeds of this are
00:28Ashgate Hospice, Pathways which is the support charity for the homeless. Some of it will go
00:36towards our community fund where smaller organisations or community groups can make
00:43applications to us for grants of up to £500. And then the other project is one that's hopefully
00:49coming to fruition sort of later this year is the rebuilding of a school in Nepal.
00:54We come every year. I've done for oh I don't know probably about 15 years I would think. You see a
01:00lot of people that you know and you can talk to people about the work that they do on the cars
01:06and how they do it and exchange tips and advice on various things to do with your own motor.
01:15This is a Bentley which is in effect is a Rolls Royce and the body is built by possibly the
01:22by a man called Bupat who were famous for building the bodies for the Rolls Royce. I love coming to
01:28the Renshaw Car Show because it's just so good. Keep bumping into people you've not seen for the
01:32last year. I found a Morgan in a barn and I started to do it up then got a proper job away from home
01:40and that had to go. I made up my mind to as soon as I could I'd get another Morgan. I bought this
01:46and at that time it was absolutely immaculate. It's got 130,000 miles on the clock
01:51and I used to sprint and hill climb it. I demolished the car but luckily it didn't
01:56demolish me. Totally stripped it back to the bare chassis had it all straightened out and
02:03bonded the wings back together again and the view was to respray it and make it look immaculate
02:09again but I'd rather drive it but it's great showing it this car does attract quite a lot
02:15of attention. I was up here earlier on looking at the some of the first cars that came in
02:19see there's some fantastic vehicles. I just love some of the massive great
02:23American ones that turn up here. We like it here it's great.
