The Trump campaign plans to open new "Trump Force 47" field offices in Minnesota and Virginia to expand its ground game in these states. These offices will be staffed by new hires to manage the campaign's operations and build volunteer teams in Minnesota and Virginia. The campaign believes opening offices in these traditionally Democratic states could provide Trump with "at least 12 additional pathways to 270" electoral votes. Internal polls allegedly show Biden's weakening favorability and Trump's gains with minority voters have made Minnesota and Virginia more competitive.
