00:00As far as John Taylor Porter is concerned, as you mentioned, Canadian authorities have
00:06opened their own investigation.
00:08We know that Porter is being investigated already in the US.
00:12We know his lawyer has said he's cooperating with authorities on that front.
00:16And so this is Canada opening up an investigation through the Ontario police and we'll see how
00:23that goes.
00:24We'll see what they come up with.
00:25They decided they had enough information, obviously.
00:27We know that four co-conspirators have been charged.
00:30Porter actually has not been charged in the US, Craig, so that's something perhaps we'll
00:33see what happens in Canada.
00:34You don't want to speculate in this case.
00:36It's all allegations.
00:37But given the allegations in the US in terms of the fact he had owed gambling debts and
00:43had faked injuries and came out of games early and given that inside information to better
00:47so they could place parlays over $1 million, those parlays would have won had they not
00:53been flagged by the Sportsbook Draft Kings and then the Integrity Association and then
00:58the FBI, which is doing its own probe.
01:00So I think a lot to unpack here.
01:03I followed up with the Canadian authorities today.
01:06They said they wouldn't have anything perhaps until this investigation is over and we see
01:10what it amounts to.
01:11So Porter for now is not charged in the US and we'll see what Canada decides to do with
01:17their own probe.
