00:02The best advice I received when I became a CMO was to slow down and make sure that I
00:15take my team with me on the journey.
00:17And I think this is something that is very important when you lead a big organization,
00:21especially if it's multifunctional.
00:24Not everybody's going to think in the same way, and sometimes the speed with which an
00:28individual like a CMO might think about their vision and what they want to achieve and accomplish
00:34will push them to move very quickly.
00:37But what is actually more important to achieve results is to actually take the time to communicate,
00:43to embed the vision, to create the understanding and the followership in the organization.
00:48So you kind of have to slow down to then move fast.
00:51And that's something that I learned in my early days when I became a Chief Marketing
00:55Officer for the very first time, and that really stayed with me, having this patience
01:00to slow down first before you move to move faster later.
