00:00But can I just tell you that Mads, Mads is still like, what's the name of that one, that muffler?
00:05The muffler? I'm like, it's the Niffler, Mads!
00:07Come on, do your research, buddy!
00:18Otherwise, it's just, it's just a load of wizards.
00:21What?
00:27What is the big one in our film, Manticore?
00:29I would say the Manticores from this.
00:34A Manticore, don't.
00:37That big one.
00:38Yeah, definitely.
00:39Do not adopt that one.
00:40Yeah, don't, don't.
00:41Somebody can adopt it, but not my neighbor.
00:43Yeah.
00:44You need a tunnel. Who's got a tunnel?
00:46And that's going to bother the whole neighborhood as well.
00:48I couldn't imagine 2, 3 a.m. with that thing.
00:51The Manticores who are in this movie-
00:52They're not just for Christmas.
00:53They're not just for Christmas.
00:54And kind of what you were saying, you know,
00:56there are some sweet ones and there are some vicious ones.
00:58And the Manticore somehow, you know, disguises itself,
01:01masquerades as being of the sweet and cuddly and chirpy type.
01:05Swivel, but delicately.
01:07But actually they are vicious and terrifying.
01:10And you don't want to run into a mummy Manticore in a dark alley.
01:17I think the Niffler, it just steals a bunch of stuff.
01:21That's okay.
01:22And that's kind of concerning.
01:23It's like, I can't just as a black person walk around with a Niffler
01:27because they're just going to go around stealing stuff.
01:32They went that way, officer.
01:34That is true.
01:34But I mean, there are also creatures that just kills a lot.
01:38Right. Yeah, yeah.
01:39And you think that's better?
01:40Yeah, I know, right?
01:41I would rather have just like a murderous creature rather than a Niffler.
01:45Bruh.
01:45I don't know. I just feel like it would just get me into a lot of drama.
01:49But I mean, look at the bright side.
01:50If he steals enough, you can always get money to bail out.
01:53That's right. Definitely.
01:54So then I would get the Niffler to go get them.
01:57Get past that point and you're good.
01:59Really?
02:00I would, I mean, I've told you before, I would really like to have a Niffler.
02:03I think it just comes in handy.
02:05But can I just tell you that Mads, Mads still like,
02:08what's the name of that one, that muffler?
02:10The muffler.
02:10I'm like, it's the Niffler, Mads.
02:13Come on, do your research, buddy.
02:14Did he say that?
02:15He got it today.
02:16But I actually prefer the name, the muffler.
02:20It's something you put on your car, isn't it?
02:21Teddy the muffler.
02:22Exactly.
02:23Oh, bloody hell.
02:24I have a theory that the Niffler is the most dangerous
02:27because who knows where that marsupial pouch goes.
02:30It could be going to like a whole other dark dimension.
02:33True.
02:33And also you cannot control, there's no disciplining a Niffler.
02:37No disciplining.
02:37No.
02:38Can you imagine just like a pack of Nifflers?
02:41Just like one on your watch and another on your bracelet
02:44and another on an ankle bracelet.
02:46Then you'd be, you'd be crazy.
02:51Nifflers rule the world.
02:52But I, for me, I've been a big fan of Pickett's from the get-go.
03:03You've been a loyal Pickett.
03:04I have, haven't I?
03:04Since day one.
03:06And he's been asked which his favorite is several times.
03:08And some, some actors shift their allegiance, not Jude.
03:12He's a Pickett fan through and through.
03:14I adore Pickett, but Pickett is a bit.
03:17I want Pickett.
03:18I would rather chop off my hand than get rid of you
03:19after everything that you've done for me.
03:21Now come on.
03:21Pickett needs a lot. He's wonderful, but he's really neurotic, so you really need to, you can't
03:27just like go, okay, you know, like I'm going to take you for a walk. And you can't just eat a
03:32salad around Pickett, you know? Looks at you like, side, out of the side of his eyes, just like,
03:37how dare you? He's my cousin. He's got a good, he's got a good stink eye. Pickett's a bit needy,
03:44that's the only thing I'd say. I mean from, yeah, you have the hands-on experience. Yeah, I do have,
03:48and I adore Pickett, and definitely Pickett of all of the bowtruckles has a very specific
03:54place in Newt's heart. But occasionally, I actually love the Pickett-Niffler-not-Muffler
03:59combo. I think they make, they're both fighting for Newt's love and attention. They're the ones
04:04that he carries with him a lot. But in this movie, they kind of team up, and you see a bit
04:08of affection between the two of them. Oh, you need a, you need a lock, you need someone who
04:19can pick a lock, and you need a thief. You do, you do. The two of them together are ideal.
04:23The thief and the criminal, basically. That's another whole, that's an HBO Max series,
04:27right there. The Niffler and Pickett. The chilling? Oh yeah, but, so you're,
04:33you're like constantly being judged and measured, right? So if it's not bowing all the time,
04:38you know you've done something wrong. Okay, sorry about that. Yeah, oh, am I not worthy? Am I like
04:44feeding you, and I'm not worthy? I get that. It's a lot of pressure. Absolutely. Am I the
04:47one paying the rent around here, and I'm not worthy? It's like a cat, almost. Yeah, oh yeah.
04:52Totally, it's like cat vibes. Yeah, Mooncalf is, they're lovely, and they- They're just happy to
04:58see if you got some floaty pellets. So joyful and, and chill. I feel like they're like a good
05:04starter pet. I'm an owl person. I do just like a classic, you know, magical owl. I've always wanted
05:10like a snowy white owl, or maybe just like, I mean, they just, they deliver the post. They all
05:14have different personalities. There's just lots to like. I love that the wyvern in this, you know,
05:20which is the creature that comes out at the beginning, and the picks Newt up from, and
05:25from the case, and kind of blows, blows herself up into this gigantic sort of balloon. I, I kind
05:31of love that creature too, and, and again, the fact that the creatures are working,
05:36working not only with Newt, but actually for, like actually save Newt in this, is kind of,
05:41I found, found that very emotional at the beginning of the movie. You never met a monster
05:45you couldn't love. I, I, I keep coming back to the Niffler. I just like it. Yeah, it's just cute. It
05:50is cute. If you find a way to train it, you know, that it will hand over. What do we make today?
06:04Someone responsible, someone patient. Yeah. I often, I mean, I do find many similarities between
06:11these creatures, and I have two young children. My little boy is just at the moment, just like
06:15desperately trying to like, sort of hit things, and sort of, and, and, and you have to be very
06:19patient with him, whilst also encouraging him to let out his, yeah. The different creatures have
06:23different, you know, different wants and needs, and you have to slightly shape-shift your parenting,
06:28depending on which creature you're looking after. A Niffler is easy, right? That's low-hanging fruit,
06:33right? Yeah. I'd be any politician in the world. Oh, nice. Roasted. Love that. I think an owl,
06:41definitely, um, not too small of a child. I feel like there's like a,
06:47that seems like they would be irresponsible with it. But they also come across as quite
06:52independent, so even if a child can't take care of them, they might teach the child certain things.
06:57That's right, that's true. Yeah. But that's like, I feel like that's like just being a good dad,
07:01like you seem like you've got good dad energy. I think you should really like, be qualified to
07:06adopt a fantastic beast. Yeah. It takes a lot of, a lot of, um, care, and you have to have the right
07:16sort of skills and qualifications to look after them. It's a big responsibility. Yeah. Very
07:22dangerous. We got to do the fourth movie, it's got to be a fantastic beast and how to care for them.
07:27A care guide. Yes. Oh, I like that. Robby. Robby the Mooncalf. Robby would be better for a
07:39bowtruckle though, because he could be Robert Plant, you know? Whoa. A bowtruckle who's got a
07:44little flower. Oh, sweet. So I'd call it Bud. Bud, I love what you did there. Or could I even
07:52have a bud coming out of- Have a little flower growing out of his head or something. Yeah. Do
07:55they flower or do they just leaf? I don't know. I really should know the answer. Manny the Mooncalf.
08:01Manny the Mooncalf. Murray, Murray. Murray the Mooncalf. I will name it Messi, like any football
08:08player, Messi, Lionel Messi. My dog is called Messi and everything has to be called Messi. Cool,
08:15I love it. The entire time he keeps playing. Yeah, cool. I would probably do just like Aaliyah,
08:20like the pop singer, because I was obsessed with her as a kid and that's just, it's like,
08:25come here Aaliyah, like that, like just put my finger up, like there's just something so nice
08:29about it. It's timeless. It's got a great sound to it. Yeah. Aaliyah, like that just seems really
08:34nice to me. It's working on me right now. I don't know what I would call my- Oh, I'll tell you what
08:42I did actually. In the first movie, there was a moment when I had to improvise summoning loads of
08:47bowtruckles on the tree. Yeah. Titus, Finn, Poppy, Marlowe, Tom. David, the director, was like,
08:53can you just list a name? But I had to keep repeating them, so I listed, I had, at the time,
08:59had four godchildren. And so I listed them all in, which I thought we had to get their names in.
09:04Yeah. That's great. So that was good. I'd probably keep doing that,
09:10because you get bonus godparent points. Correct. Three points to Hufflepuff.
