00:00Hi, I'm Andrew Trendall. You're watching NME. We're here at Glastonbury 2024 at the
00:10Woodsies area. This is the Tree Stage, the brand new Tree Stage. We're here with Lilith
00:16Piper. Lilith, what's new? The Tree Stage is new, which is really exciting, and it's
00:21bringing something really new and refreshing to the area. It's very much trying to integrate
00:27this whole space as being a new listening experience in the trees, quite literally,
00:33as it is built around a 300-year-old oak tree. So we're on Ley Lines, Prince Arthur's been
00:39through here. Is this a magic tree? It's pretty magical. I say it hasn't born here, but it's
00:44been resurrected here. We just thought it would be a great sculpture, and speaking to
00:48the ancients as a kind of symbol of our connection with Avalon and the Somerset landscape. What
00:53can people experience if they were to come here later this weekend? It becomes a late
00:57night immersive event when the main stage closes, which is really exciting. It's almost
01:02as if the main stage is like the sun, and this is the moon. So we have a wonderful range
01:07of electronic musicians leading the way and also bringing a range of fresh new sounds
01:13and textures to be experienced in the round. You may also find a world to kind of dissolve
01:19into, a space where it's about finding yourself, not losing yourself.
