Fill Handle is a feature in Excel that Enables you to Auto-Complete a List in a Row/Column by simply dragging it using your mouse.
A basic understanding of Fill Handle in Excel could save you some time, and make you more productive.

02:48Now let's say, I have removed this. If we have to fill this kind of data, we had to write sales and, let's say, we have to write like this.
03:05This is one value. If I drag and drop like this, then let's say there are 10, 15, 20, 50 rows, or the data is 1000, 2000, then it's fine, but if it's too much, then it becomes a problem.
03:16So what we have to do is, we have to take this selection on a particular cell, and here you can see a small rectangle dot is being created.
03:26Take your mouse pointer on this rectangle dot, and a plus sign will be created. See, you have to click on it.
03:36As soon as you click, what it does is, it takes the range of the data that was captured, the entire format-wise, and automatically fills your data.
03:52So you can automatically fill your data using the fill handle. So this is your option, this is the fill handle.
04:01So fill handle, when you rotate this small rectangle dot mouse cursor, you will get this.
04:09What fill handle does is, it will select the entire area, and if there is data on one cell, it will copy-paste it.
04:17On the entire data range, that too automatically.
04:22And the second most important thing is, let's say you just want to select, then you can also just select.
04:32See, it has selected it. It has selected the entire range.
04:38So if you want to copy-paste something, drag and drop something, you can do things like this.
