U.S. Journalist Spy Trial Begins in Russia Behind Closed Doors

The trial of American journalist Evan Gershkovich began in Russia after he spent nearly 16 months behind bars in Moscow on suspicion for spying on a Russian tankmaker on behalf of the CIA. Gershkovich, his employer the Wall Street Journal and the U.S. government reject all charges.
