00:00Hi, I'm Liberty. I'm here with NME at Glastonbury 2024. We're here at the Arrivals stage and
00:10I'm here with Shanko and Shuren. Tell us a bit about the area.
00:13We are the Arrivals space. We have three sort of sections within the space that we want
00:18an audience to kind of go through. We've got the front, which we've been calling the facade.
00:22That's sort of a reference and homage to vintage art deco kind of cinemas. We then invite an
00:26audience into our tent, which is a solar punk comic book world that we've created as
00:31a sort of fantasy sci-fi film that we're trying to invite an audience to step into.
00:36Garden space is really a kind of homage to the charpai beds that you get, you find really
00:43often in Punjab, all over northern India. What you're seeing is really the confluence
00:50of several years of artists finally finding each other, finding the space to be with each
00:55other, finding the space to make work together, and then linking up not only with sort of
01:00our contemporary peer group, but also the work that has been done before. We're standing
01:04on the shoulders of generations of artists who've come before us. We've created what
01:09I think is one of the most impressive lighting rigs for a space of art. It's 10 metres square.
01:13We've filled it with some of the best tech. We've pulled together a whole audiovisual
01:18spectacle. I think people are going to come in, they're going to have their minds blown
01:21and they're going to hopefully keep coming back.
