00:00Hello, YouTubers.
00:02Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we're looking at the most interesting, inactive YouTube channels that aren't being used due to unsettling reasons.
00:09We'll only be looking at accounts that haven't uploaded for years at the time of writing.
00:12Yeah, I beat Tito. Never goes outside.
00:17SpyKittenTV
00:19This video is clearly stating that the entertainment industry is in fact the perfect illusion, and that it was not at all what she originally signed up for.
00:29Specializing in conspiracy videos, especially if religion or the Illuminati are involved, SpyKittenTV, also known as Dasha, opened her account in 2015.
00:37She regularly took aim at celebrities, often musicians, and tied their imagery, behavior, and words to the so-called secret world-running organization.
00:45Dasha's last video was released in 2018, which focused on Takashi69.
00:50The creature made out of balloons, which is the centerpiece of the whole video, serves as the beast mentioned in the End Times book of revelations.
01:01Her social media channels, which have problematic content, have also gone dark or been deleted with no explanation for her disappearance.
01:07Her mysterious absence led fellow conspiracy fans to believe something strange had happened to her, perhaps involving the Illuminati.
01:13However, there are allegations Dasha created the Witching Hour channel before that, too, became inactive in 2019.
01:19Connie Kim
01:29Alongside Elle Walker and Meg Reznikoff, Kim co-founded the popular parenting channel What's Up Moms in 2012.
01:35They released their first regular content in 2013 and are still active today.
01:39At the same time, Kim ran a personal channel that contained candid clips of her family, with her husband Andrew and their son Nathan.
01:50The last video from this account was in 2013.
01:54That year, sadly, Kim passed away from complications from giving birth to her daughter.
01:58While Andrew posted a couple of clips on the account afterward, it then became inactive.
02:02After taking a break to recover from the loss, What's Up Moms returned with Andrew's blessing.
02:06A tribute video to Kim's legacy was uploaded by Walker and Reznikoff.
02:11Elle told me not to wear my designer maternity jeans, and we can't for the life of us figure out why.
02:23Showcasing the life of the LeBlancs, Bratayley was one of the most popular family channels on YouTube.
02:27The account first began uploading content in 2010 and put out around 2,600 videos, often reaching millions of views.
02:34Yet the last, titled The End of an Era, was in 2019, when they announced stepping back from the platform.
02:40It doesn't mean that we're gonna stop vlogging forever.
02:44It doesn't mean we ever will start again, though. We don't honestly know.
02:48The tragedy of the channel made this change understandable.
02:50Four years before, in 2015, the teenage son of the LeBlancs, Caleb, suddenly passed away from a heart condition.
02:56The Bratayley channel posted a tribute video to their son and brother.
02:59After focusing on other projects, some of the LeBlanc family returned to YouTube, such as Jules and Katie.
03:04Now I've set myself up to have a very productive, fun, easy, stress-free day,
03:09where I can do what I want and not have my thoughts all jumbled up.
03:12Martin Hett
03:13There's also Ant R.W., who I bump into a lot.
03:19Rude.
03:20One of the best parts of YouTube is people in fandoms making funny, bizarre videos about their passion,
03:25and Hett was a prime example of this.
03:27Originally creating his channel in 2007, he specialized in making comedy videos,
03:31often focused on the UK soap opera, Coronation Street.
03:34He even had a tattoo of one of the show's characters on his leg.
03:37He's even known as the boy that got the Deirdre tattoo, as you can see here.
03:41A month after uploading his last video in 2017, Hett went to watch Ariana Grande at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England.
03:48Sadly, an attack by extremists ended his life along with 22 others, including the perpetrator.
03:53In 2024, Hett's mother, Figgin Murray, partitioned the government to introduce Martin's Law,
03:58which would require venues to train staff to prevent similar attacks.
04:02It was like the last time I spoke to him.
04:05It was like a leaving do party, because he was going to America for two months.
04:12How do I lower my body fat percentage? I've heard you speak of it a couple times.
04:17What do I gotta do?
04:18On top of being a personal trainer, Travis Williams, better known as Achilles,
04:22wanted to spread his fitness advice through YouTube and created an account.
04:25His videos focused on exercise to help get people fitter and motivational messages.
04:30Days after posting his last video on the platform in 2015,
04:33Williams and a friend went to the Buckhead area of Atlanta, Georgia to record an exercise video.
04:38That's me at the top. I inspire and motivate this person, this person, and this person,
04:44and they go on to inspire this person, and it trickles down.
04:49However, they choose a place next to the train tracks.
04:52When Williams was jumping rope, a high-speed freight train struck him and his friend, who was filming.
04:56While the camera operator escaped without serious injury, Williams unfortunately didn't survive.
05:00They apparently misjudged how wide it was in relation to the tracks, and the train struck Williams.
05:06Geriatric 1927.
05:08I could change myself to sepia if you like. How's that?
05:12Oh, wow. What a trick.
05:14In 2006, this channel was the most subscribed one on YouTube and was the first to reach 25,000 subscribers.
05:21Created by Pierre Oakley, the UK-based creator quickly became the Internet's granddad.
05:25He specialized in putting out autobiographical videos talking about his role during and after World War II,
05:30as well as his passions, such as motorbikes and music with the Zimmers Band.
05:34You've always shed my darkest hours. I'll miss you when I go.
05:42Oakley's calm demeanor resonated with the audience through the chaos of life and the Internet,
05:46turning him into a celebrity as the mainstream media profiled him.
05:49In 2014, he put out his last video, giving an update on his circumstances.
05:54Oakley had moved into a nursing facility after being diagnosed with cancer.
05:57A month later, he unfortunately passed away.
06:00Sort of in conclusion, I would say my possibly final goodbye. So, goodbye.
06:09Snakebit McGee.
06:11And it was during one of these far-off-the-beaten-path nature hikes
06:14where Kenny said he stumbled upon the mysterious cave
06:18that he claimed was emitting some kind of seemingly supernatural force.
06:23Setting up his channel in 2012, Kenny Veach concentrated on his hiking trips
06:27and gave advice to other would-be walkers for managing the great outdoors.
06:30A month after putting up his last video on YouTube,
06:32Veach went to search for the fabled McShaped Cave.
06:35Previously, he had commented on the platform about a strange cave that caused his body to vibrate
06:40that he found near the Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada,
06:42which is speculated to be connected to Area 51.
06:45This area that I'm in, it's kind of a weird thing. It's been out here forever.
06:51There's no roads. There's no trails.
06:53This November 2014 trek was Veach's second attempt to rediscover the strange place.
06:58However, even though he stated he would return the following day, he never did.
07:01To this day, no one knows what happened to Veach, which has led to rampant conspiracy theories.
07:06Vegas is out that way. There's Mount Charleston.
07:10It's got a nice cool breeze going. If I wasn't hiking, I wouldn't be hot.

07:17Like, you know whenever you're so excited you can't speak?
07:19That's what I'm like right now, and I'm just telling the story.
07:22So like, I'm like, oh my gosh, I was like five feet from Jeff Bundy's car.
07:26Will Norton began releasing content in 2007 that highlighted his comedy skills with skits.
07:31In 2011, he put out his last video about a snowstorm.
07:34A couple of months later, tragedy sadly struck.
07:37You just look out, and you see tons of wildebeests, and I was like, hey, family portrait, you know, smile.
07:41Norton and his father were driving back from his high school graduation
07:44when a tornado hit Joplin, Mississippi.
07:46The Humber was engulfed by the dangerous weather, nearly forcing it to tip.
07:49While his father tried to hold on to him, Norton's seatbelt snapped, and he was taken by the tornado.
07:54Altogether, 158 people directly lost their lives to the devastating event.
07:58After being encouraged by her brother, Sarah Norton created her channel, The Style Blog, in 2010,
08:03before stepping away in 2020.
08:05I try to watch his videos every year on May 22nd as well,
08:09because they just, I don't know, they just make me so happy.
08:12Corey LaBerry
08:13I literally don't know what I just filmed.
08:15If it was good content or bad content, I'm losing my f***ing mind, really.
08:20After forming his channel in 2014, LaBerry began releasing content in 2016
08:24that specialized in his lifestyle and challenges.
08:27On top of this, he was one part of the Corey and Crawford channel alongside Crawford Collins.
08:32In 2020, LaBerry released a video that was meant to be deleted after 24 hours.
08:36In it, he detailed it was his 25th birthday, and he planned to stream the day after.
08:40We might get a little bit drunk, but, you know, who knows?
08:43Alright, bye.
08:44However, that night in Los Angeles, California ended in tragedy.
08:47After celebrating and both drinking, Ink Master alumni Daniel Silva drove LaBerry.
08:52Silva crashed the car into a tree, unfortunately ending LaBerry's life.
08:56After a plea deal for manslaughter, Silva was sentenced to a year in jail and five years on probation.
09:00I just one day hope to be able to make some sort of amends with,
09:03whether it be to friends or family or fans.

09:29After spending years raising money,
09:31Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie planned to travel in their van
09:34and vlog their experience through their channel.
09:36However, they only uploaded one video in 2021 as they set off.
09:39Shortly after a domestic incident, Petito vanished.
09:42Laundrie then returned to his parents' house.
09:44As people searched and tried to figure out what happened, Laundrie also disappeared.
09:48And also under fire, the officers in Utah,
09:51who responded to a fight between the couple during their road trip last month.
09:55Then sadly, Petito's body was found in Wyoming.
09:58She had been murdered and the evidence pointed to her partner.
10:01Before he could be located, his remains were discovered after taking his own life.
10:05Laundrie's notebook stated he was responsible for taking Petito's life
10:08and that he pretended to be her to deceive her family through text messages.
10:11I was hoping we would just be here a couple of days and that Gabby would be found alive
10:15and that we could really have a happy ending to this.
10:18I never expected that this would take so many twists and turns.
10:22Are there any other abandoned channels with disturbing backstories that we missed?
10:26Misha Boo, Michi Monroe, Hope Stope or someone else?
10:29Let us know below.
