00:00Computer Science videos here today to show you guys in this tutorial how to

00:05add the selected item to the finder sidebar on a Mac computer. Without further

00:09ado, let us start the video. So in this tutorial, you need to have access to a

00:13Mac computer, have created maybe a folder or document or anything that you wish to

00:21add to the finder sidebar ready for quick access. So we can now go all the way

00:27down to the dock, go to finder, let's go one folder back or let's just focus on

00:33my YouTube channel, Computer Science videos. What we can do is drag and drop

00:38this to the favorites, finder, sidebar. We can remove from sidebar but a quicker way

00:48a Mac keyboard shortcut to take the selected item from where it is to the

00:56finder sidebar is CTRL, CMD and T. Let's just click the folder itself, CTRL,

01:03CMD and T and that takes your selected item to the finder sidebar. Let's now

01:12quit finder for the moment, go all the way down to the dock again, go to finder and

01:15there we have my YouTube channel. If I navigate to let's say documents, my

01:22YouTube channel, let's just go to the first folder itself and here we have

01:30some videos. Now if I want to quickly go back to my YouTube channel, what I can do

01:35is go to the favorites, my YouTube channel and we are back where we started.
