Reform UK leader, Nigel Farage has said that the remarks made by a party campaigner were “horrible”. Andrew Parker, out in the Essex seaside constituency of Clacton, used a racial slur against Conservative Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in footage recorded by a Channel 4 News undercover reporter. Mr Farage did however attempt to deflect attention to the Labour Party candidate, saying the Reform UK campaigner's comments were "almost as bad as the Labour candidate in Clacton." 00:00Mr Farage, Mr Farage, Channel 4 News. Would you, um, would you apologise to the Prime
00:06Minister for the appalling racist way that one of your campaigners spoke about Rishi
00:11Sunak? That was horrible. Do you apologise to the Prime Minister? It was horrible. That's
00:15not quite an apology, is it? You can't get, you can't get, how much further can I go?
00:19Of course this is an apology, it was horrible. I don't know who this bloke is, somebody I
00:22met once years ago. I mean, awful, horrible, horrible. Almost as bad as, almost as bad
00:28as the Labour candidate in Clacton and his slurs on white people. Have you covered that?
00:32I'm here to focus on you. No, no, no, have you covered the Labour, no, no. We scrutinise
00:36all of the parties and their campaigns. But if you are appalled by this as you say you
00:40are, why are you trying to deflect? Why are you trying to deflect if you are as appalled
00:45as you say you are? Because I would like to ask you also about the members of your inner
00:48circle because they've also made homophobic, racist, xenophobic comments. People who have
00:54senior roles in your campaign in Clacton. I would drink white men's tears. I'm standing
00:58for black and Asian people, not British.
