Bachelorette Jenn Tran Thinks Her Season 'Breaks the Mold': There's a Lot of 'Self-Love'

00:00What are you most excited for people to learn about you

00:02because like you said this season really does break the

00:05mold. So how do you feel like it does?

00:08This season definitely breaks the mold in a lot of different

00:10ways. But for me, you know, I've been thinking about this

00:13a lot because I do really feel like I break the mold starting

00:17the journey as a bachelorette.

00:18I never saw myself as a bachelorette.

00:20I never because for me the bachelorette is someone who's

00:22so confident so poised like can articulate is articulate can

00:26emotionally like emote and can be vulnerable.

00:30And I just didn't know if I could do all that and I never

00:32saw myself as a main character.

00:34I never saw myself as someone with that much confidence.

00:36And so I what I really learned is that it's not about fitting

00:41a mold of the bachelorette or a mold of anything.

00:43It's about being able to just be yourself the best that you

00:46can and that's really what my whole journey is about, you

00:50know, is me being myself and embracing all of my flaws and

00:54everything that makes me unique and I'm the first Asian

00:57American bachelorette like you're going to be seeing a lot

00:59of me having conversations with these men about what that

01:04means to me and what my culture means to me.

01:07And so things like that is really what I learned to embrace

01:10throughout the journey and I'm so excited for people to see

01:12that and to see themselves reflected in that.
