Jasmine's hopes of enjoying a smooth journey were washed away by a storm, and this video shows how.
The footage captures the state of Palma de Mallorca Airport following heavy rain. "Due to the flooding in the airport, several flights were canceled and delayed," the filmer told WooGlobe.
According to Spanish airport authority Aena, the flooding had less to do with the intensity of the storm and more to do with the fact that certain areas of the terminal are currently under construction, and the drainage system was not fully operational at the time of the inconvenience.
