00:00I'll see you in a little bit.
00:06Do we believe Macklin Celebrini, who's 18 years old and a center from Boston University,
00:10is a generational type talent?
00:11Like what do we expect out of him even coming into the league early in his career?
00:16Yeah, I mean, I think he's like somewhere behind Bedard, probably, but maybe not by
00:23too much.
00:25You got some great Boston connections for the Sharks team.
00:28The GM, Mike Greer, played at the same prep school as their other young center stud, Will
00:34Smith, and Will Smith went to Boston College and now Celebrini won the Hobie Baker for
00:39top player in college hockey as the youngest player in the NCAA this past year for Boston
00:45University.
00:46So BU has the connection with him and GM Mike Greer, and the other guys know each other
00:51from playing in the same division and being from the U.S.
00:56So it's really playing in the U.S. as youngsters, I should say.
01:01So it's a really good situation for the Sharks to be in as they finally tore it down.
01:07There were so many years where they refused to rebuild.
01:10Now they tore it down and in just one year, two years, you find yourself with two top
01:15five picks at the center position that you could build your franchise around.
01:20They hope that someday it could be a Crosby-Malkin type thing and maybe they're winning championships
01:27and getting over the hump down the road four, five, six years from now.
